Some document names are changing — here's the scoop 👀

You may notice a few changes to the names of some documents in your giving program — and we want to make sure you're in the loop before they go live on June 23rd, 2026.

We're updating terminology across a handful of documents to more accurately reflect how Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) actually work. Specifically, terms like "Account" and "Statement" imply a banking relationship that doesn't exist — and since clarity matters (especially in the world of charitable giving), we're making the language match the reality.

Here's what's changing:

Before After
Account Statement Contribution Summary
Cumulative Account Balance Cumulative Contributions
Global DAF Account Top Up Invoice Global DAF Donation Request
Corporate DAF Account Top Up Invoice Corporate DAF Donation Request
Top Up - Invoice # Donation Request #
Top Up - Invoice Date Donation Request Date
Donation Report - Invoice # Donation Report #
Donation Report - Invoice Date Donation Report Date

These updates ensure that all documentation accurately reflects the role Benevity has and provides you with clear, compliant visibility into your giving program. View samples of the new documentation for reference:

Same documents, same info — just names that better reflect what's actually happening with your giving program. If any of these changes affect your internal workflows, now's a great time to flag that with your team.
