Donate

Give Again Prompts
Donors who contributed to a nonprofit within the past year can now re-engage with their favorite causes in one click. By removing friction from the giving process, this feature makes it faster and easier for employees to continue supporting the causes they care about.

 Employee Mobilization

Collective Challenges
Foster a spirit of unity with our new Collective Challenges. This feature allows individual points to pool toward a community-wide goal, prioritizing collaboration over competition. Once the target is hit, you have the flexibility to celebrate that success in the way that best fits your culture - whether by coordinating a corporate donation, a special matching campaign, or a team activity. Learn more.

Refreshed Employee Group Leader Planning Calendar
The group leader planning calendar has been redesigned with a cleaner, high-visibility layout, making it easier for community leaders to spot scheduling conflicts and identify engagement gaps, so they can proactively plan programming where it's needed most. Learn more.

 Grants Management

Operational Insights
The new Operational Insights Dashboard offers a centralized view that puts program health and task priorities in one place. It eliminates the need to switch between pages or run reports just to understand what needs attention. Program Administrators can spend less time gathering data and more time acting on it—starting each day with instant clarity on what's urgent and what's on track. Learn more.

Program and Risk Management

Faster global disbursements
We believe purpose is the future of business, and that future is built on an infrastructure that moves money at the speed of human generosity. That’s why we are accelerating our world-class financial engine, shifting to automated weekly cycles. This update enables your donations to reach nonprofits in as little as 14 days — bridging the gap between a donor's act of goodness and real-world impact. By leveraging our Donor Advised Fund (DAF) infrastructure, you can now deliver funds quickly and at a global scale without compromising the rigorous security, trust and compliance your program depends on.

Ready to accelerate your impact? Check your program’s eligibility on the BHive.

 Non-profit Organizations

Disbursement Forecasting Dashboard
The new Financial Dashboard offers a centralized and intuitive interface that streamlines report navigation, simplifies reconciliation, and introduces powerful forecasting capabilities. It empowers our partners to spend less time on administration and more time focused on their mission, while providing them with the tools to better visualize and substantiate the impact generated through our corporate clients and their supporters.

Enhanced Disbursement Reporting
Solves the growing complexity of financial reconciliation for nonprofit organizations (NPOs). This feature introduces a unified reporting dashboard and a multi-select option to export data into a single report. This feature not only unblocks strategic global money movement goals but also strengthens NPO trust and reduces the operational burden on Benevity’s support teams.

Unified Causes Portal Navigation & Home Page
The Unified Navigation Experience and Portal Home Page represent a critical evolution of the Benevity Causes Portal, transitioning from a fragmented, decade-old legacy system to a modern, cohesive App Shell. This project addresses the technology gap between legacy environments and the new architecture by implementing a centralized vertical navigation sidebar and a revamped landing experience.

Transaction Search
This feature introduces a centralized search interface that lets users query transactions by donor name, email address, company, or transaction ID. By bridging the gap between bank deposits and individual donor activity, Benevity empowers nonprofits to independently reconcile funds, respond to donor inquiries instantly, and reduce administrative friction.

Grants Management

AI Application Summaries
Accelerate your grant review process with our new AI Application Summaries, designed to transform lengthy applications into instant, actionable insights. By automatically extracting a project’s purpose, funding needs, and expected impact, this feature eliminates the administrative burden of "first-pass" reviews and manual data extraction. Grant reviewers and program administrators can now shift their energy from tedious reading to strategic decision-making and high-value alignment, ensuring community funding reaches its destination faster. Learn more.

Modernized Forecast Module
We’ve updated Grants Advanced to support a consistent payment module experience, providing a modern and intuitive interface for managing forecast-based budgeting. This enhancement ensures that program administrators can utilize the same streamlined reconciliation and auditing workflows they rely on, now within our modernized Payments environment. By aligning these tools, we’re providing a more cohesive and efficient experience for tracking and managing your forecast-based payment cycles.

Volunteering

Turn Volunteer Hours into Verified CRA Impact
We’re launching a brand-new Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) solution to help financial institutions capture and verify global community service. This feature introduces geocoding to automatically map volunteer hours to low-to-moderate income (LMI) areas, alongside a dedicated review workflow for validating and editing submissions. With a multilingual CRA form and dedicated CRA reporting, you now have a single, streamlined hub to track, review and visualize your CRA impact.

Improved Sorting for Manage Sign-Ups
The Manage Sign-Ups page will soon display 25 rows per page and support alphabetical sorting by username, making it faster to navigate large volunteer lists and manage your workload at a glance.

Modernized Volunteer Opportunity
The modernized Volunteer Opportunity experience will go live for all users on
April 14th. This update includes a more modern look and feel, enhanced accessibility, and a consolidated manage menu. Administrators can preview the new experience now via the toggle in their user profile. Learn more.

 Employee Mobilization

Enhanced Challenges Leaderboard
The Challenges leaderboard will expand into a fully dedicated experience on the Browse Challenges page, where participants will be able to track their progress, see their community standing and discover challenges their peers have recently completed.

Admins will also be able to toggle the leaderboard off entirely, giving programs the flexibility to dial up competition - or collaboration - as needed.

Custom Categories in Challenges
Challenge managers will be able to create custom categories to align their Challenges with program-specific topics and pillars, beyond the default categories of Sustainability, Diversity and Inclusion, and Wellbeing.
